In 1994, The Big Easy Entertainment Awards launched a separate annual event, the Tribute To The Classical Arts. A luncheon was established to honor achievements in Classical Music, Opera and Dance. This mid-day event in February each year is held at the Hotel Monteleone. Proceeds benefit the Foundation for Entertainment Development and Education.

The awards luncheon honors performers and patrons of the classical performing arts with 14 awards along with live performances by nominees, a luncheon buffet, and an open bar. A limited number of tables for ten and individual $40.00 tickets are sold to the public and sponsors of the event. Attendance exceeds 300.
